Abstract Art - Abstract Art came early to Cuba and the possibilities of this form of expression are explored by many contemporary Cuban artists. The evocative abstract images of Cuban artists such as Juan Lazaro Gutierrez and Carlos Otera are based on years of consideration of the importance of color and form in transmitting emotion from painter to viewer.
